Western Blotting (WB), ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Fluorescence Microscopy (FM)
Cross-Reactivity (Details)
Cross reactivity with HDAC1 from other sources has not been determined.
Purity
Anti-HDAC1 was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. This antibody is specific towards HDAC1. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Human, Mouse, Rat, and Primate based on 100 % sequence homology.
Endotoxin Level
Low Endotoxin : No
Immunogen
HDAC1 affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region of human HDAC1. Immunogen Type: Peptide
Anti-HDAC1 antibody is useful for ELISA and Western Blot. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately ~62 kDa corresponding to the appropriate cell lysate or extract. HDAC1 (also known as HD1, histone deacetylase 1, RPD3, RPD3L1) belongs to the histone deacetylase/acuc/apha family and is a component of the histone deacetylase complex. Histone acetylation and deacetylation, catalyzed by multisubunit complexes, play a key role in the regulation of eukaryotic gene expression. It also interacts with retinoblastoma tumor-suppressor protein and this complex is a key element in the control of cell proliferation and differentiation. Together with metastasis-associated protein-2, it deacetylates p53 and modulates its effect on cell growth and apoptosis. Anti-HDAC1 antibodies are ideal for researchers interested in Apoptosis, Breast Cancer, Cancer, Cell Cycle and Replication, Checkpoint signaling, Core ESC Like Genes, Chromatin Research, DNA Double Strand Break Repair, Epigenetics, DNA Repair, Histone Deacetylases, and Stem Cell Marker research.
