Application Notes: ELISA (detection antibody): The CLB/TF-1 antibody has been used successfully to detectsoluble CD142 in ELISA assays, when using clone CLB/TF-5 (product ABIN155195) as a coatingantibody. Flow cytometry.

Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background: CD142 expression can be induced on monocytes, macrophages and endothelial cells by various stimuli including interleukin 1, tumour necrosis factor and endotoxin. CD142 initiates the blood clotting cascade by binding coagulation factor VIIa, which activates factor IX or factor X by specific limited proteolysis.
