Application Notes
-
ELISA: Direct: To detect hNeurturin (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of0.25 - 1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This In conjunction with compatible secondaryreagents, it allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hNeurturin. Sandwich: To detect hNeurturin (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of0.25 - 1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. In conjunction with Polyclonal Anti-HumanNeurturin as a capture antibody, it allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well ofrecombinant hNeurturin. Western blot: To detect hNeurturin this antibody can be used at a concentration of0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detectionlimit for recombinant hNeurturin is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducingconditions.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. -

Background
- Human Neurturin (NTN) and Human GDNF comprise a family of TGF-beta related neurotrophic factor which have trophic influences on a variety of neuronal populations. Neurturin promotes the survival of certain sympathetic and sensory neurins through interaction with distinct set of GDNF-like receptors.Synonyms: NRTN
