    Immunogen

A synthetic peptide from n-terminal region of human T-lymphoma invasion and metastasis-inducing protein 1 (TIAM-1 TIAM1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.

    Isotype

    IgG
  • Application Notes

IHC WB (confirmed by recombinant protein). A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.

    Restrictions

    For Research Use only
  • Format

    Lyophilized

    Reconstitution

Reconstitute in 500 µl of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.

    Handling Advice

    Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

    Storage

    4 °C,-20 °C

    Storage Comment

Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

  • Target

    TIAM1 (T-Cell Lymphoma Invasion and Metastasis 1 (TIAM1))

    Alternative Name

    TIAM 1

    Background

FUNCTION: Modulates the activity of RHO-like proteins and connects extracellular signals to cytoskeletal activities. Acts as a GDP-dissociation stimulator protein that stimulates the GDP-GTP exchange activity of RHO-like GTPases and activates them. Activates RAC1 CDC42 and to a lesser extent RHOA. SUBUNIT: Interacts with BAIAP2. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Found in virtually all analyzed tumor cell lines including B- and T-lymphomas neuroblastomas melanomas and carcinomas.
