Product Details anti-ABCB4 Antibody

Specificity: P3II-26 reacts with an internal epitope of MDR3 / P-Glycoprotein (ABCB4). P3II-26 does not cross-react with the human MDR1 / P-Glycoprotein. Species Reactivity: Human and guinea pig. Others not tested.

Immunogen: A fusion protein containing a fragment of the MDR3 / P-Glycoprotein comprised of amino acids 629-692 and Glutathione S Transferase.

Application Details

Application Notes: Western blot Immunocytochemistry: Use at a dilution of 1:20-1:50 on acetone-fixed cytospin preparations. Immunohistochemistry: Use at a dilution of 1:20 on acetone-fixed frozen sections, followed by incubation with rabbit anti-mouse IgG and a monoclonal mouse APAAP complex. P3II-26 does not work very well on formaldehyde-fixed paraffin-embedded human tissues. Flow cytometry: Optimal conditions still to be determined. The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the researcher.
