Specificity
- Reacts with both human CNP1 and CNP2. Species cross-reactivity: Bovine, canine, sheep, mouse, rabbit and rat. Bovine, canine, human, mouse, porcine, rabbit, rat, sheep. Does not cross-react with Chicken, Guinea Pig. Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed. Recognizes human CNPase, 48 and 46kD polypeptides by SDS-PAGE. Differentiates clearly oligodendrocytes and Schwann cells from neurons, astrocytes, etc. Species cross-reactivity: Bovine, rat, mouse, rabbit, sheep, porcine, canine.
