-
Specificity
- Recognizes bovine LDL Receptor. Recognizes an epitope in the region of repeat #1 of the ligand binding region. Detects the 160kD polypeptide in human normal fibroblasts and in bovine adrenal gland. Addition of 15 nM antibody results in inhibition of half-maximal LDL-binding. Species cross-reactivity: human. Does not react with rat, mouse, hamster (Chinese hamster ovary cells), canine or rabbit.
