Application
-
-
Specificity
- May be used to detect mast cells in routinely fixed tissues and has been used to study the distribution of mast cells in skin, synovium, lung and heart. Binding of this antibody to chymase is not reduced in the presence of heparin, suggesting that the antibody does not bind to the heparin-binding domain of chymase. Species cross-reactivity: human.

Application Notes
-
Approved: IHC, IHC-P, WB
Usage: Western Blot1 (Ab 1-2 μg/mL for 2hrs at RT). Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin) (Use Ab at 0.06-0.12 μg/mL for 30 min at RT). Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Positive control: Tonsil. The applications listed have been tested for the unmodified form of this product. Other forms have not been tested. -
