The Biotin-conjugated Rat Monoclonal anti-IL-7 antibody (Clone BVD10-11C10) (ABIN2661242) specifically detects IL-7 in ELISA and ELISpot.
The antibody is reactive with Human samples.
The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotin.
ELISA or ELISPOT Detection: The biotinylated BVD10-11C10 antibody is useful as a detection antibody for a sandwich ELISA or ELISPOT assay, when used in conjunction with the purified BVD10-40F6 antibody as the capture antibody. Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: The BVD10-11C10 is a non-neutralizing antibody. Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.

Background
IL-7 is a potent lymphoid cell growth factor which promotes the proliferation of pre-B cells, thymocytes, T cell progenitors, and mature T cells. IL-7 induces formation of LAK cells and CTLs, and can stimulate tumoricidal activity of monocytes and macrophages. IL-7 can induce upregulation of proinflammatory cytokines in myeloid cells. IL-7 is expressed by stromal cells. The BVD10-11C10 monoclonal antibody is specific for human interleukin-7 (IL-7).
