This anti-Transferrin Receptor antibody is a Mouse Monoclonal antibody detecting Transferrin Receptor in FACS. Suitable for Human. This Primary Antibody has been cited in 1 publication.
Reacts with the 95 kDa, type II membrane glycoprotein, the transferrin receptor expressed on activated lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, most dividing cells and on brain endothelium. CD71 is not expressed on resting lymphocytes and is upregulated during response to antigens and/or mitogens. The transferrin receptor binds Fe(Apo)-transferrin and via endocytosis and delivers iron required by the growing cell for cellular metabolism. Profile of PHA-stimulated (3 days peripheral blood lymphocytes analyzed on a FACScan
Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.
