RIPK2 belongs to the RIP subfamily of kinases. RIPK2 has an N-terminal serine/threonine kinase catalytic domain and a C-terminal caspase activation and recruitment domain (CARD). RIPK2 interacts with CD40 or the tumor necrosis factor receptor.Synonyms: CARD-containing IL-1 beta ICE-kinase, CARDIAK, RICK, RIP-2, RIP-like-interacting CLARP kinase, RIP2, Receptor-interacting protein 2, Receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 2
