The Mouse Monoclonal anti-CEACAM5 antibody (Clone C365D3(NCRC23)) (ABIN319989) specifically detects CEACAM5 in FACS, IHC (p), IHC (fro) and EIA.
The antibody is reactive with Human samples.
This antibody recognises human carcinoembryonic antigen. The antibody does not cross-react with normal cross-reacting antigen (NCA), or with biliary glycoprotein (BGP).

Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) is synthesised during development in the fetal gut, and is re-expressed in increased amounts in intestinal carcinomas and several other tumors. Antibodies to CEA are useful in identifying the origin of various metastatic adenocarcinomas and in distinguishing pulmonary adenocarcinomas (60 to 70 % are CEA+) from pleural mesotheliomas (rarely or weakly CEA+).Synonyms: CEA, Carcinoembryonic antigen, Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 5, Meconium antigen 100
