-
Binding Specificity
- pThr56
-
Specificity
- Detects endogenous levels of eEF2 only when phosphorylated at threonine 56. It does not recognize eEF2 phosphorylated at other sites.
-
Purification
- Immunoaffinity purified
-
Immunogen
-
Synthetic phosphopeptide (KLH coupled) corresponding to residues surrounding Thr56 of human eEF2.
Type of Immunogen: Synthetic phospho-peptide -

Application Notes
-
Approved: ELISA, IHC, IHC-P (1:100), WB (1:1000)
Usage: Immunohistochemistry: This antibody was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for this antibody was determined to be 1:100. Western Blot: 1:1000, Incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5 % BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1 % Tween-20 at 4uC with gentle shaking, overnight. -
