Specificity
- Recognizes the p37 subunit of human and yeast (S. cerevisiae) Replication Factor C (RFC). RFC is a heteropentameric protein consisting of p140, p40, p38, p37, and p36 subunits, RFC participates in targeting DNA polymerase ~ processivity factor (PCNA) on to a primed DNA template during DNA synthesis and repair. RFC has also been associated with DNA repair in conjunction with a PCNA-like heterotrimer of Hus1, Rad1, and Rad9.
