  • Target

CYTIP (Cytohesin 1 Interacting Protein (CYTIP))

    Alternative Name

    CYTIP / PSCDBP

    Background

This protein contains 2 leucine zipper domains and a putative C-terminal nuclear targeting signal, and it does not have any hydrophobic regions. It is expressed weakly in resting NK and T cells. It and cytohesin-1 physically interact through their coiled-coil domains. Cytohesin-1, in addition to its role in cell adhesion, is a guanine nucleotide-exchange protein activator of ARF GTPases.Synonyms: CASP, CYBR, Cytohesin binder and regulator, Cytohesin-associated scaffolding protein, Cytohesin-binding protein HE, Cytohesin-interacting protein, PSCDBP, Pleckstrin homology Sec7 and coiled-coil domains-binding protein
