Application Notes
-
Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1: 4000. Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 35 kDa band in Testis and Brainlysates after 0.3 μg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find anexplanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 225 kDaaccording to NP_038478. The 35 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with theimmunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have anyresults been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splicevariants/modified forms been reported?Immunohistochemistry: 1-2 μg/mL. In paraffin embedded Human Small Intestine showsprimarily nuclear staining in a number of cells of the lamina propria.

-
Alternative Name
- BAZ2B
-
Background
- BAZ2B may play a role in transcriptional regulation interacting with ISWI. It is expressed at varying levels in several tissues, whereas a smaller transcript was expressed specifically in testis.Synonyms: Bromodomain adjacent to zinc finger domain protein 2B, KIAA1476, hWALp4
