Product Details anti-CES1 Antibody (HRP)

Specificity: This antibody detects porcine esterase. Cross reactivity against esterase from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti-rabbit serum as well as purified and partially purified Esterase [porcine liver].

Purification: Multi-step process including delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer

Application Details

Application Notes: Suitable for immunoblotting (Western or dot blot), ELISA, immunoperoxidase electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays. Recommended Dilutions: Western blot : 1/1000-1/5000 Immunohistochemistry. ELISA : 1/14000. This product has been assayed against 1.0 μg of esterase [porcine liver] in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:3,500 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested.
