Application

-
Specificity
- Recognizes human Urokinase. Does not cross-react with other serine proteases (tissue plasminogen activator, plasmin, trypsin, chymotrypsin, elastase, thrombin). Human whole plasma or plasma proteins do not interfere with its binding to urokinase. Binds to human HMW-scuPA (54kD), HMW-tsuPA (52kD) and LMW-scuPA (33kD) with high apparent affinity (Kd= 0.1 nM) completely inhibiting the ability of urokinase to activate plasminogen. Also inhibits the synthetic substrate S2444.
