Purpose
- CD44 FITC Antibody
-
Characteristics
- The clone Hermes-3 selectively binds to the 80-95 kDa type I glycosylated trans membrane surface protein known as CD44 or Hermes. It is a receptor for hyaluronic acid (HA) and strongly expresses to all leukocytes, epithelial cells, endothelial cells, hepatocytes, mesenchymal cells. CD44 is also called extracellular matrix receptor type III and has functional roles in cell migration, lymphocyte homing and adhesion during hematopoiesis and activation.
