Specificity: DS-MB-01777 recognizes the Leishmania major surface protease (gp63), a 63kDa highly conserved protein which is found at high density on many Leishmania species. DS-MB-01777 recognizes living and fixed parasites, but will not bind to denatured or improperly folded recombinant gp63.
