- This antibody detects an ~65kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Hsp65 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from M. bovis and M. leprae. There is no reactivity with the mammalian Hsp60 homologues from human, monkey, mouse, rat, yeast and Drosophila, or with GroEL from E. coli.
