Purpose: Proliferation Marker Antibody

Specificity: JC1 detects a nuclear antigen, distinct from Ki67, present in proliferating cells. It is useful as a marker of proliferation in cases such as squamous cell carcinoma where the Ki67 index cannot be determined.

Purification: 200ug/ml of Ab Purified from Bioreactor Concentrate by Protein A/G.

Known Application: Western Blot (0.5-2 μg/mL), Immunofluorescence (1-2 μg/mL), ,Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (1-2 μg/mL for 30 min at RT),(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes),Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
