Characteristics
- RYBP (RING1 and YY1 Binding Protein) is a member of a non-canonical PRC1 repressive complex composed of at least RING1B and ubiquitinated H2A. Also inhibits ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of TP53, and thereby plays a role in regulating transcription of TP53 target genes. May be implicated in the regulation of transcription as a repressor of the transcriptional activity of E4TF1. RYBP antibody (pAb) was raised in a Rabbit host. It has been validated for use in Western blot, it has been shown to react with Human and Mouse samples.
