The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-ADCY2 antibody (ABIN7227218) specifically detects ADCY2 in WB and ELISA.
The antibody is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-2000,ELISA 1:5000-20000

Background
Adenylate cyclase type 2, ATP pyrophosphate-lyase 2, Adenylate cyclase type II, Adenylyl cyclase 2ADCY2 (Adenylate Cyclase 2) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are GABAergic synapse and Calcium signaling pathway. ADCY2 encodes a member of the family of adenylate cyclases, which are membrane-associated enzymes that catalyze the formation of the secondary messenger cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). This enzyme is insensitive to Ca(2+)/calmodulin, and is stimulated by the G protein beta and gamma subunit complex.
