The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-BRP44L antibody is suitable to detect BRP44L in samples from Human, Mouse and Rat. It has been validated for WB, IHC, ELISA and IF.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-1:2000,IHC 1:100-1:300,IF 1:200-1:1000,ELISA 1:20000,Not yet tested in other applications.

Background
MPC1, BRP44L, CGI-129, HSPC040, PNAS-115, Mitochondrial pyruvate carrier 1, Brain protein 44-like proteinThe protein encoded by MPC1 is part of an MPC1/MPC2 heterodimer that is responsible for transporting pyruvate into mitochondria. The encoded protein (mitochondrial pyruvate carrier 1) is found in the inner mitochondrial membrane. Defects in this gene are a cause of mitochondrial pyruvate carrier deficiency. Several transcript variants, some protein coding and one non-protein coding, have been found for MPC1.
