The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-CSNK1G1 antibody is suitable to detect CSNK1G1 in samples from Human, Mouse, Rat and Monkey. It has been validated for WB, ELISA, IHC and IF.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-1:2000,IHC 1:100-1:300,IF 1:200-1:1000,ELISA 1:20000,Not yet tested in other applications.

Background
CSNK1G1, Casein kinase I isoform gamma-1, CKI-gamma 1CSNK1G1 encodes a member of the casein kinase I gene family. This family is comprised of serine/threonine kinases that phosphorylate acidic proteins such as caseins. The encoded kinase (casein kinase 1 gamma 1) plays a role in cell cycle checkpoint arrest in response to stalled replication forks by phosphorylating Claspin. A mutation in CSNK1G1 may be associated with non-syndromic early-onset epilepsy (NSEOE).
