The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-CHSY1 antibody is suitable to detect CHSY1 in samples from Human and Mouse. It has been validated for WB, ELISA, IHC and IF.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-1:2000,IHC 1:100-1:300,ELISA 1:10000,IF 1:50-200

Background
CHSY1, CHSY, CSS1, KIAA0990, Chondroitin sulfate synthase 1, Chondroitin glucuronyltransferase 1, Chondroitin synthase 1, ChSy-1, Glucuronosyl-N-acetylgalactosaminyl-proteoglycan 4-beta-N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 1, N-acetylgalactosaCHSY1 encodes a member of the chondroitin N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase family. These enzymes possess dual glucuronyltransferase and galactosaminyltransferase activity and play critical roles in the biosynthesis of chondroitin sulfate, a glycosaminoglycan involved in many biological processes including cell proliferation and morphogenesis. Decreased expression of CHSY1 may play a role in colorectal cancer, and mutations in CHSY1 are a cause of temtamy preaxial brachydactyly syndrome.
