Background
Proto-oncogene FRAT1, Frequently rearranged in advanced T-cell lymphomas 1, FRAT-1FRAT1 (FRAT1, WNT Signaling Pathway Regulator) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are Endometrial cancer and Signaling by Wnt. An important paralog of this gene is FRAT2. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the GSK-3-binding protein family. The protein inhibits GSK-3-mediated phosphorylation of beta-catenin and positively regulates the Wnt signaling pathway. It may function in tumor progression and in lymphomagenesis.
