The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-NET1 antibody (ABIN7227362) specifically detects NET1 in ELISA and WB.
The antibody is reactive with Human and Mouse samples.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-2000,ELISA 1:5000-20000

Background
Neuroepithelial cell-transforming gene 1 protein, Proto-oncogene p65 Net1, Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 8NET1 (Neuroepithelial Cell Transforming 1) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with NET1 include Breast Cancer. Among its related pathways are p75 NTR receptor-mediated signalling and Phospholipase-C Pathway. NET1 is part of the family of Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factors. Members of this family activate Rho proteins by catalyzing the exchange of GDP for GTP. The protein encoded by NET1 interacts with RhoA within the cell nucleus and may play a role in repairing DNA damage after ionizing radiation. Pseudogenes of NET1 are located on the long arms of chromosomes 1, 7 and 18. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms.
