The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-SPAG9 antibody (ABIN7229214) specifically detects SPAG9 in WB and ELISA.
The antibody is reactive with Human and Mouse samples.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-2000,ELISA 1:5000-20000

Background
C-Jun-amino-terminal kinase-interacting protein 4, JIP-4, JNK-interacting protein 4, Cancer/testis antigen 89, CT89, Human lung cancer oncogene 6 protein, HLC-6, HLC-6SPAG9 (Sperm Associated Antigen 9) encodes a member of the cancer testis antigen gene family. The encoded protein functions as a scaffold protein that structurally organizes mitogen-activated protein kinases and mediates c-Jun-terminal kinase signaling. This protein also binds to kinesin-1 and may be involved in microtubule-based membrane transport. This protein may play a role in tumor growth and development. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. SPAG9 is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with SPAG9 include Cardiomyopathy, Hypertrophic, 2 and Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Mixed Cellularity. Among its related pathways are Arf6 trafficking events and Akt Signaling.
