    pTyr133

    Purpose

    Synuclein-α (phospho Tyr133) Polyclonal Antibody

    Specificity

Phospho-Synuclein-α (Y133) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of Synuclein-α protein only when phosphorylated at Y133.

    Purification

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen

    Immunogen

Synthesized peptide derived from human Synuclein-alpha Phospho-Tyr133

    Isotype

    IgG
  • Application Notes

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB (1:500-1:2000), IHC-P (1:100-1:300), ELISA (1:40000). Not yet tested in other applications.

    Background

Rabbit Anti-Synuclein-α (phospho Tyr133) Polyclonal Antibody,SNCA, NACP, PARK1, Alpha-synuclein, Non-A beta component of AD amyloid, Non-A4 component of amyloid precursor, NACP,Alpha-synuclein is a member of the synuclein family, which also includes beta- and gamma-synuclein. Synucleins are abundantly expressed in the brain and alpha- and beta-synuclein inhibit phospholipase D2 selectively. SNCA (synuclein alpha) may serve to integrate presynaptic signaling and membrane trafficking. Defects in SNCA have been implicated in the pathogenesis of Parkinson disease. SNCA peptides are a major component of amyloid plaques in the brains of patients with Alzheimer's disease. Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.,Alpha-synuclein
