The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-TRPS1 antibody is suitable to detect TRPS1 in samples from Human and Mouse. It has been validated for IHC, ELISA, WB and IF.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-2000,IHC 1:100-1:300,ELISA 1:5000,IF 1:50-200

Background
TRPS1, Zinc finger transcription factor Trps1, Tricho-rhino-phalangeal syndrome type I protein, Zinc finger protein GC79TRPS1 (transcriptional repressor GATA binding 1) encodes a transcription factor that represses GATA-regulated genes and binds to a dynein light chain protein. Binding of the encoded protein to the dynein light chain protein affects binding to GATA consensus sequences and suppresses its transcriptional activity. Defects in TRPS1 are a cause of tricho-rhino-phalangeal syndrome (TRPS) types I-III.
