The Mouse Monoclonal anti-TUBB2A antibody (ABIN7212050) specifically detects TUBB2A in WB, IHC, IF and IP.
The antibody is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:50000-100000,IP 1:200,IHC 1:50-300,IF 1:50-200

Background
Microtubules, key participants in processes such as mitosis and intracellular transport, are composed of heterodimers of alpha- and beta-tubulins. Tubulin beta 2A class IIa encoded by TUBB2A is a beta-tubulin. Defects in TUBB2A are associated with complex cortical dysplasia with other brain malformations-5. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for TUBB2A.
