The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-VPS54 antibody is suitable to detect VPS54 in samples from Human, Mouse and Rat. It has been validated for ELISA, IHC and IF.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: IHC 1:100-1:300,ELISA 1:40000,IF 1:50-200

Background
VPS54, HCC8, Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 54, Hepatocellular carcinoma protein 8, Tumor antigen HOM-HCC-8, Tumor antigen SLP-8pVPS54 (VPS54, GARP complex subunit) encodes for a protein that in yeast forms part of a trimeric vacuolar-protein-sorting complex that is required for retrograde transport of proteins from prevacuoles to the late Golgi compartment. As in yeast, mammalian Vps54 proteins contain a coiled-coil region and dileucine motifs. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
