    LIMD1 (LIM Domains Containing 1 (LIMD1))

    Alternative Name

    LIMD1

    Background

Background: LIM domains containing 1 (LIMD1) is a transcriptional regulator that inhibits E2F-mediated transcription, and suppresses the expression of the majority of genes with E2F1-responsive elements. LIMD1 may act as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting cell proliferation [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) Q9UGP4].
