    Background

Background: Deubiquitinating enzyme A (DUBA) is a negative regulator of the innate immune system. DUBA has deubiquitinating activity that is directed towards 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains and acts via TRAF3 deubiquitination and subsequent suppression of type I interferon (IFN) production [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) Q96G74].
