    Alternative Name

    Cyclin L1

    Background

Background: Cyclin L1 is a member of the serine and arginine-rich family of proteins (SR proteins) which function as regulators of pre-mRNA splicing. Cyclin L2 has been reported to associate with RNA polymerase II and regulates the transcription and RNA processing of apoptosis-related factors, resulting in tumor cell growth inhibition and apoptosis.
