Purpose
- MUC1 Unconjugated Antibody
-
Characteristics
- The clone C-F2A, a mouse monoclonal antibody selectively binds to 500-1000 kD heterodimer transmembrane protein of the mucin family encoded in humans by the MUC1 gene known as MUC1 which also called as CD227. MUC1 is variably expressed on the surfaces of normal and malignant glandular and ductal epithelial cells, some hematopoietic cell lineages including subsets of T cells, B cells, monocytes, and dendritic cells. Due to its overexpression and aberrantly glycosylated in adenocarcinomas and in hematological malignancies, MUC1 (CD227) has been a target for tumor immunotherapeutic studies in mice and in humans.
