    Background
Rabbit Anti-HEY1 Antibody, BHLHB31, CHF2, HERP2, HESR1, HRT1, Hairy/Enhancer-Of-Split Related With YRPW Motif 1, Hes Related Family BHLH Transcription Factor With YRPW Motif 1, Hairy And Enhancer Of Split-Related Protein 1, Class B Basic Helix-Loop-Helix Protein 31, Cardiovascular Helix-Loop-Helix Factor 2, Hairy-Related Transcription Factor 1, HES-Related Repressor Protein 1, HRT-1, HESR-1, CHF-2, OAF1,HEY1 belongs to the hairy and enhancer of split-related family (HESR), a transcriptional repressor family.  This nuclear protein is induced by the Notch pathway and is mainly associated with cardiovascular development. This family is known to repress GATA4, GATA6, MASH1, and NEUROD4 downstream effects. It's role in liver cancer cell self-renewal is still being studied, as it's suspected role in neurogenesis in mice. Hey1 is associated with diseases such as mesenchymal and periosteal chondrosarcoma. Anti-HEY1 antibody is useful for researchers interested in cancer research, neuroscience research, and Notch signalling.
