Background
-
Background: Target of EGR1 protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TOE1 gene. Enables poly(A)-specific ribonuclease activity and snRNA binding activity. Involved in RNA phosphodiester bond hydrolysis, exonucleolytic and snRNA 3'-end processing. Located in Cajal body and cytoplasm. Implicated in pontocerebellar hypoplasia type 7.
