    Background

Chickens were immunized with HHHHHH peptide conjugated to KLH. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the immunoglobulin fraction prepared. Antibodies were immunoaffinity- purified using the peptide immobilized on a solid support and conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). Specification: Prior to conjugation, the antibodies were analyzed by ELISA and Western blot analyses. The molar F/P ratio is 3.6.
