Clone

B306-1 (Ccp58)
  • Specificity

This antibody reacts with MUC2 gene product, a secretory apomucin found in a variety of normal and neoplastic human glandular epithelia.

    Purification

    Concentrated.

    Immunogen

Synthetic MUC2 tandem repeat consensus sequence.

    Isotype

    IgG1 kappa
  • Application Notes

    Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100
    Immunoblotting: 1:100-1:200.
    ELISA: 1:500-1:1000.
Staining Procedure: This antibody can be used on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Prolonged fixation in buffered formalin can destroy the epitope. The antibody may be used at a dilution of 1:50-1:100 in IHC. It is recommended that this product be used on frozen tissue sections or specimens. The optimal conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory.
