Comment
-
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ARC Antibody (ARP39183_P050),. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Background
-
Background Information: ARC is required for consolidation of synaptic plasticity as well as formation of long-term memory. It regulates endocytosis of AMPA receptors in response to synaptic activity. It is required for homeostatic synaptic scaling of AMPA receptors. ARC plays a role in the regulation of cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization and is required in the stress fiber dynamics and cell migration.
