Comment
-
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-CBLN4 antibody ( ARP52505_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Background
-
Background Information: Cerebellin is a sixteen aa peptide found mainly in the adrenal medulla, where it has been shown to have a neuromodulatory function. Cerebellin is derived from precerebellin, a protein with sequence similarity to the noncollagen domain of complement component C1qB. CBLN4 is a glycoprotein which shares sequence similarity with precerebellin.Cerebellin is a sixteen aa peptide found mainly in the adrenal medulla, where it has been shown to have a neuromodulatory function.
