    Comment

This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PPIB antibody ( ARP44365_T100). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

    Background

Background Information: PPIB is a cyclosporine-binding protein and is mainly located within the endoplasmic reticulum. It is associated with the secretory pathway and released in biological fluids. This protein can bind to cells derived from T- and B-lymphocytes, and may regulate cyclosporine A-mediated immunosuppression. Western blots using two different antibodies against two unique regions of this protein target confirm the same apparent molecular weight in our tests. The protein encoded by this gene is a cyclosporine-binding protein and is mainly located within the endoplasmic reticulum.
