Comment
-
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-DVL1 antibody ( ARP32100_T100). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Background
-
Background Information: DVL1 is a cytoplasmic phosphoprotein that regulates cell proliferation, acting as a transducer molecule for developmental processes, including segmentation and neuroblast specification. DVL1 gene is a candidate for neuroblastomatous transformation. The Schwartz-Jampel syndrome and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2A have been mapped to the same region as DVL1 gene. The phenotypes of these diseases may be consistent with defects which might be expected from aberrant expression of a DVL gene during development.
