    Comment

This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti- KRT20 Antibody (ARP91089_P050),. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

    Background

Background Information: This gene encodes a member of the keratin protein family and is found within a cluster of cytokeratin genes on chromosome 11. Keratins are cytoskeletal proteins that are preferentially expressed in epithelial cells. The encoded protein may help maintain intermediate filament organization in intestinal epithelium. Phosphorylation of this protein may also influence mucin secretion in the small intestine.
