Comment
-
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-MSX1 antibody ( ARP31396_T100). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Background
-
Background Information: Slightly proximal to the Huntington disease locus, the human MSX1 gene is deleted in patients with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. This gene is also called HOX7. The Msx family of vertebrate HOX genes was originally isolated by homology to the Drosophila msh (muscle segment homeo box) gene. This is a candidate gene for human cleft palate.
