Comment
-
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PAIP1 antibody ( ARP40650_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Background
-
Background Information: PAIP1 interacts with poly(A)-binding protein and with the cap-binding complex eIF4A. It is involved in translational initiation and protein biosynthesis. Overexpression of this gene in COS7 cells stimulates translation. The protein encoded by this gene interacts with poly(A)-binding protein and with the cap-binding complex eIF4A.
