A synthetic peptide for use as a blocking control in assays to test for specificity of MUS81 antibody,
Alternative Names: MUS81 control peptide, MUS81 antibody Blocking Peptide, Anti-MUS81 Blocking Peptide, MUS81 endonuclease homolog, S. cerevisiae Blocking Peptide, FLJ21012 Blocking Peptide, FLJ44872 Blocking Peptide, MUS81, MUS-81, MUS 81, MUS-81 Blocking Peptide, MUS 81 Blocking Peptide -
Purification
- The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide is removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Background
- MUS81 interacts with EME1 and EME2 to form a DNA structure-specific endonuclease with substrate preference for branched DNA structures with a 5'-end at the branch nick. Typical substrates include 3'-flap structures, replication forks and nicked Holliday junctions. It may be required in mitosis for the processing of stalled or collapsed replication forks.
